According to the Public Relations Department of the Weightlifting Federation, following the martyrdom of Seyyed Khorasani, His Holiness Ayatollah Khamenei, the wise and honorable leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued a message to Dr. Sajjad Anoushirvani.

In the name of the Lord of Martyrs and the Truthful

This is heartbreaking and unbelievable news.

▫️I offer my condolences to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Imam Khamenei, on the passing of Sayyid Khorasani, in the presence of His Holiness Baqiyatullah al-Azam, the people of Iran, and all Muslims and freedom-loving people of the world.

The leader of the Islamic nation was martyred with the tongue of fasting and, like his grandfather Hussein (AS), stood firm against oppression and force and never bowed his head.

He was the identity card of the Islamic nation and the beloved pillar of the Iranian Revolution.

The continuation of the luminous path of our martyred Imam is an undeniable necessity; we are now in the midst of a battle with the deadliest enemies; we must, with firm determination and greater cohesion, wrap up the scroll of the infidels of the present era.

The evil regime of America and Zionism should also know that the great nation of Iran will never forgive the blood of their martyred leader; this revenge will be severe and its fire will engulf the laps of many.

▫️Once again, I offer my condolences to the Imam of the Time (a.s.), the noble people of Iran, and the Islamic Ummah on the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader.
